Damnok Toek

Damnok Toek (‘drop of water’ in English / ‘goutte d’eau’ in French) was created by the foundation Goutte d’eau in 1997. It is active in supporting vulnerable and marginalized children and their families in three different locations: Poipet, Neak Loeung, and Kep. In 2013, the three centers merged to become a single organization registered as a local Cambodian NGO.
DT takes care of about 1’000 children daily with the support of around 120 employees:
Poipet
Since 1999, Damnok Toek offers a range of programs to help street children and children victims of trafficking: healthcare, education, rehabilitation, reintegration, and prevention.

Neak Loeung
Damnok Toek offers programs for children with physical and/or mental disabilities providing them with a home, healthcare, physical and occupational therapy, and education. The Handicap Center opened in 2003 in Phnom Penh and was transferred to Neak Loeung in 2018.

Kep
The Kep Farm, a social business created by Goutte d’eau – a child support network in 2016 and managed by Damnok Toek, offers a place to live and work to young people with severe mental disabilities.
