DDSP is a Cambodian organization that focuses on the most vulnerable people with disabilities including children, women, and those with severe or multiple disabilities. Since its creation, DDSP has developed a reputation as an innovative community-based organization responding effectively to the needs of people with disabilities.
Goutte d’eau – a child support network collaborates with DDSP since 2009 supporting the following projects:
Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR): a program offering comprehensive support to disabled people and their families in countryside communities. CBR offers basic health, rehabilitation, social, and educational support. It also helps families improve their livelihood and works with local authorities on capacity building and awareness raising in the field of disability.
Mlob Mith Komar (MMK): a center providing physical therapy and child development activities to children with severe disabilities, as well as support to their families (social and income generation support). MMK also offers special education classes and supports inclusive education programs in public schools.
